TEJANO MUSIC

Tejano music is a combination of Polka infused with Conjunto and Norteño beats. Over the years, Tejano expanded to include wind instruments such as the alto saxophone, which enhance the sound next to any accordion. The genre expanded to include the rhythm of the cumbia and many other Latin sultry sounds.

1960s
